We are qualified, bilingual language tutors and we have taught for more than 15 years. We hold MA degrees (specialized in methodology of English teaching). Our teachers successfully completed the globally recognised English language teaching course (CELTA).

As far as our teaching philosophy is concerned, teaching to us is not just a career choice. We did not choose to be teachers to have summer vacations, or an ‘easy’ job. We believe that teaching is the opposite of easy. Being a teacher means bringing the work home, constantly learning new strategies, and doing everything to encourage and inspire students to gain knowledge on their own.
Our way of teaching is positive and encouraging and we make a teaching hour challenging and informative. Moreover, as ESL teachers in the Netherlands (Haarlem) we always try to learn something new related to technological innovations because we search for new solutions to facilitate the learning process. We try to combine the best from traditional and modern approaches and methods of teaching.
SpeakUp offers English language courses at a low-cost price. We put an emphasis on creating a practical and constructive learning environment for adults and teenagers who would like to boost their language skills (speaking, writing, listening, reading).
Apart from the language courses we organize creative classes for the youngest ones as well. For example, ‘Arts and Crafts’ course for kids aged (4-6) and (7-9). The classes are conducted in Spanish and English.
